JOE WHELSKI

Founder, Director & Producer

Joe Whelski is an award winning NYC Director, Writer, Producer, Instructor & SAG-AFTRA and Equity Actor. His feature indie comedy “Yellow Scare” (director and co-producer), won best “Best Comedy” at the Golden Door International Film Festival (NJ), and his darkly comedic web series “Mystery Mansion” (director and co-producer), won “Best TV Pilot” at the Hoboken International Film Festival.

His original work has been featured on Funny or Die and the UK’s number one Star Wars fan site, JediNews. Joe directed the national commercial campaign for Unpakt.com, and created international commercials for The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Born Free USA, and DAVSS (featuring ‘Doctor Who’ number 4, Tom Baker). His latest national commercial for the Duke Lemur Center features the VO of John Cleese. Joe is a founding member and creative director for the Magnet Theater Video Lab and currently teaches at The Peoples Improv Theater, NYC.

As an actor, Joe has played various characters on ABC’s “One Life to Live”, appeared on “SNL”, and has starred in over 30 stage productions in NYC, NJ & PA. He’s had the privilege of working for legendary directors Ridley Scott, Sydney Pollack, Anne Bogart, and David Hugh Jones. He is an alumni of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, The New School, The School for Film and Television, and earned his BFA in Communication Design from Kutztown University in PA (while also studying design at Buckinghamshire College, England).

NICK GOODEY

Lead Writer 

Nick Goodey is an award-winning writer and creative director with a storied career in advertising that has seen him work successfully on three continents.

Starting his career in London, he has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Seattle, and New York, where he currently resides. His clients have included some of the biggest brands in advertising; T-Mobile, Colgate, Samsung, Starbucks, Smirnoff, Motorola, Kleenex, HSBC, Kellogg’s, Pfizer, and Chevy to name but a handful. He has also written for such luminaries as John Cleese, Tom Baker, Steve Coogan, and Chevy Chase while having a print campaign shot by Annie Liebowitz and a commercial directed by Todd Phillips of Joker fame.

A keen interest in animal welfare has seen him create numerous videos for endangered animal charities such as Born Free, Shark Angels, Save the Rhino, and the David Sheldrick Trust, co-producing co-directing and writing many of them. Specializing in brand advertising, he has written in all mediums from TV spots and online videos to print campaigns and blog posts. As comfortable writing long-form as short, he has pushed himself to use his storytelling gifts in screenwriting, poetry, and short stories. 

Outside of writing, he is an accomplished street photographer and featured on CNN and in ‘Black and White Photography’ magazine.

ALYSSA BRIDDES

Lead Writer

Alyssa Briddes is a writer and director based out of New York City. She's worked on several Emmy-nominated shows for ABC, Disney+, and Hulu such as "Soul of a Nation," "Superstar: John Ritter," "Into the Unknown: The Making of Frozen 2," and "The Race for the Vaccine." She has worked everywhere from TruTV to Glamour magazine. Some of her proudest work includes writing for a John Cleese voiced Duke Lemur Center PSA, and running the successful audio-sketch series "The Voicemail of Carlisle Cullen" (which parodies the "Twilight" series). She hopes to eventually use her weird sense of humor and love of spreadsheets to earn a job in late-night television. In her free time, she likes to read fantasy novels, and watch "Jeopardy!" at the gym.

Alan J. Carmona

Lead Director of Photography

Alan J. Carmona is a New York City based filmmaker and photographer. Born in Santiago Chile, he left his native land to settle in New York to study and work in the film and fashion industry. As a cinematographer and brand commercial director, he has worked with top brands such as Carolina Herrera, Michael Kors, Casio, Sally Beauty and Prabal Gurung.

Alan was the producer and cinematographer for the short film “The Visit” which was screened at over 50 film festivals, won over 12 awards and received 16 nominations.

His photography and fashion video work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Models.com,
W Magazine and WAG Magazine.

MATT HARTMAN

Lead Editor

Born in Colorado and raised by artists and writers, Hartman has been an artist since a very young age. After growing up playing hockey, drawing A LOT and watching cartoons in Minnesota, he moved to London where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. 

During his studies he discovered stop motion animation which he lovingly describes as the combination of practical fine art and digital filmmaking. This led to an understanding and deeper interest in editing and post production. 

Matthew moved to New York and went on to assist some of the world's top film and commercial editors before becoming an editor at Whitehouse Post and building a reel and clients of his own. He is currently freelancing and collaborating from his Brooklyn studio. 

Whether it’s a tv commercial, music video, documentary or a feature film, he approaches all projects with a passion for pushing creative and a true love of the craft of filmmaking.

MILA MILOSEVIC

Actor/Producer

Mila Milosevic (SAG-e) is an award winning actress, singer, improviser and model, living and working in Manhattan. Born in Serbia, she speaks Serbian, Hungarian and English fluently.

Mila has appeared in numerous national and international commercial campaigns, indie films and TV shows.

Mila has studied acting extensively with Matt Newton, NYC director Joe Whelski, Anthony Abeson and Austin Pendleton (HB Studio), among others. She completed the entire improv & musical improv program at the Magnet Theater, where she’s been training and performing since 2014.

Mila started training her voice at an early age in Hungary and Serbia, singing classical, pop, rock music, jazz and musical theatre. She has performed at Carnegie Hall, Don't Tell Mama, The Duplex, The Metropolitan Room etc. Mila also plays the flute. Member of Mensa.
